What this site is
Anthonyadore.com is the personal website of Anthony Adoré, author of Confessions to the Empty Chair and Fractions of the Soul. It publishes original essays, book information, and related artwork. It is operated by one person; there is no company, there are no reader accounts, and nothing is sold through this site directly.
Nature of the content
The essays here deal candidly with faith, grief, shame, desire, addiction, family harm and related subjects. They are personal and literary writing, offered as reflection.
This writing is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or financial advice, and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services. Nothing here creates a therapeutic, pastoral or professional relationship.
The AA Social publishing integration
Essays published here are distributed to the author’s own accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X, Flickr and TikTok, using publishing software that runs on this website. Because that software interacts with third-party platforms, its terms of operation are stated plainly.
Only original work
The artwork created for an essay, a caption written for that platform, hashtags, accessibility alternative text, and a link back to the essay. It never republishes anyone else’s content.
Only the owner’s accounts
It publishes only to accounts the operator owns and has personally authorised through each platform’s official sign-in. Authorisation can be withdrawn at any time.
No one else’s data
No followers, profiles, comments, messages or audience data. No advertising, profiling or resale of any information.
Self-hosted
It runs on the website of whoever operates it. There is no central service and no third party’s server is involved; any other operator supplies their own credentials.
A deliberate cadence
A small fixed number of posts per platform per day, drawn only from content already published here. Every send is recorded so nothing is posted twice.
Within platform rules
Including the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and content-sharing guidelines, and the terms of Meta for Instagram and Facebook, X, and Flickr.
Where a platform requires content posted through its API to remain restricted until its review is complete, that restriction is observed. The Privacy Policy describes in full what information is stored and how it is handled. Content published to those platforms remains subject to the rules of the platform it appears on, in addition to these terms.
